I moved from my home and community to have a second chance, a fresh start. I wouldn’t admit it then but moving to the city I felt isolated, alone and nervous. The staff at Edwards House were all very welcoming. They were there to support me and encourage me when I needed it. They made me feel like I was home.

The experience I have had at Edwards House has been a huge part of my ability to succeed throughout the past year. Having a safe home with caring staff has given my life stability and has allowed me to focus on important areas of my life, such as completing high school and pursuing a career.
